Synopsis:
Jonah, a closeted lesbian, finds herself in court-ordered anger management but has no intention of baring her heart and spilling her secrets. But when she meets a love interest, she must decide what's more important: keeping her queer identity a secret or gaining the freedom to love and be loved.
Flour Girl is currently on its festival run, having been selected in festivals such as the Pan African Film Festival, Seattle Black Film Festival, Toronto Women Film Festival, First Run Film Festival, Indie Short Fest, and more, winning awards such as Best LGBTQ+ Short, Best Drama Short, Best Student Film, among others.
