Diana Valero is a pianist and composer from Caracas, Venezuela based in NYC. Her music showcases her jazz background and her love for orchestral music, often incorporating latin american rhythms into her compositions.
In 2020, she was one of three recipients of the Gifted Tuition Scholarship from the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation and was one of the ten individuals to be selected out of more than 500 applicants from all around the world for the Adobe Creativity Scholarship. Diana graduated from New York University with a degree in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring.
Diana has written original music for multiple short films, some of which have been awarded and selected at film festivals across the US. She has experience in music editing music supervision, having worked alongside Susan Jacobs and Suzana Peric. Diana currently works at Antfood, a studio based in NYC that focuses on sound design, sonic branding and music for advertisement, video games, and immersive exhibitions.
